Pactolus Communication Software offers a full range of standard training courses. We will also work with our customers to provide customized training, if desired. Product-specific courses are hands on, allowing attendees to gain valuable experience with our tools.
Standard Training Courses
RapidFLEX
Overview
The RapidFLEX Overview course covers the architecture,
components, applications, features,
callflow, and call entities of the Pactolus Calling
Services.
Creating
Applications with the SCE
The course Creating Applications with the SCE
covers the basics of creating XTML applications
(e.g., callflows) with the RapidFLEX Service Creation
Environment (SCE). It provides an
overview of the SCE, instructions on using the tool,
a description of each plug-in action
components (PAC), and goes through the process of creating
a sample application.
Platform
Configuration, Management and Troubleshooting
The course Platform Configuration, Management, and
Troubleshooting provides an overview of
the platform configuration; instructions for starting
the application server, running applications
through the System Management Console, and troubleshooting
the system; and an overview of
how SNMP is used with the system.
Working
with Prompts
The course Working with Prompts provides an overview
of the Pactolus Media Server;
instructions for starting, configuring, and troubleshooting
the Media Server; and instructions for
adding prompts to the system.
Applications
Configuration, Management, and Troubleshooting
The course Applications Configuration, Management,
and Troubleshooting covers the
configuration of the application environment and provides
instructions for starting and
troubleshooting the application.
Administrating
the Calling Services
The course Administrating the Calling Services
provides instructions on configuring and
managing calling services. It covers all tasks for which
the platform owners and service
providers are responsible, including those accomplished
through the Applications Configuration
Environment (e.g., adding service providers, managing
subscribers, setting up product offerings,
running reports, etc.) and those accomplished without
the Applications Configuration
Environment (e.g., modifying batch utilities and creating
custom reports).
