PACTOLUS INTRODUCES LINUX VERSION OF PROVEN, CARRIER-READY SIPWARE SERVICES SOLUTION
Linux Availability of SIPware Prepaid Calling Card, Calling Card, and Conference Calling Offers Carriers New Lower Cost Hardware Alternatives

Pactolus Communications Software Corporation, a leading provider of SIP-based services solutions for converged networks announced today that its SIPwareT Services suite is now available on the Red Hat Linux operating system for Intel®-based hardware. Underlying these services is the Linux version of the Pactolus RapidFLEXT Application Server. By bringing Linux support to Pactolus products, the company offers service providers the option to deploy SIP-based services in their next generation networks using new, cost-effective, Linux-based hardware platforms. Pactolus products also support SPARC SolarisT, Windows® XP, Windows 2000, and Windows NT® operating systems giving service providers a wide range of hardware choices based on industry standard operating systems.
